An essential objective of the project involving the development of the National Center for Scientific Research for Food Safety was to obtain accreditation of the laboratories dedicated to quality control, food safety and security.
Thus, through the team of researchers and young doctoral and post-doctoral students involved, the national accreditation body (RENAR) approved the Accreditation Certificate on 19th of July 2021 for fulfilling the specific requirements of SR EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018 in order to perform the following tests:
1. Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) methods
2. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR) methods
3. Thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry methods (TG / DSC)
4. Gas chromatography and liquid chromatography methods coupled with mass spectrometry detectors (GC-MS and LC-MS respectively)
